Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information LedgerBase may process when you browse the site, contact us, or participate in the private beta.

Last updated: June 7, 2026
01

Scope

This policy applies to the LedgerBase website, API documentation, email-based access requests, and any private-beta API access we provide. It does not cover third-party websites or services that link to or from LedgerBase.

02

Information we process

Depending on how you interact with LedgerBase, we may process:

  • Contact information and message content you send by email.
  • Technical information automatically handled by hosting, networking, or security infrastructure, such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, requested paths, and diagnostic logs.
  • Private-beta API information, such as an API-key identifier, request metadata, usage counts, errors, and security events.

The current public site has no account registration, payment form, or browser-based API-key storage.

03

How we use information

  • Respond to questions and private-beta access requests.
  • Operate, secure, debug, and improve LedgerBase.
  • Monitor service reliability and enforce usage limits.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.
04

Cookies and analytics

LedgerBase does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics on this site. Essential browser storage or infrastructure-level mechanisms may be used when necessary for security, routing, or future authenticated beta functionality.

We will update this policy before introducing materially different tracking or analytics practices.

05

Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose information:

  • To infrastructure, hosting, email, or security providers that process it on our behalf.
  • When required by law or reasonably necessary to protect LedgerBase, its users, or the public.
  • In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of the service, subject to appropriate safeguards.
06

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods can vary by data type and operational need.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

07

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you provided to us. Depending on your location, additional rights may apply. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

Send privacy requests to contact@ledgerbase.cc.

08

Children and international use

LedgerBase is a developer service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws.

09

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as LedgerBase evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new last-updated date and, when appropriate, additional notice.

Questions about this policy may be sent to contact@ledgerbase.cc.
